TESTING

Electrical Testing in compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations requires that all electrical systems and equipment used in the working environment should be in a safe condition. The Health & Safety Executive recommend that to comply with the regulations, an inspection and electrical testing plan be implemented at all workplaces.

PAT TESTING

Part of the PATS electrical testing regime should include all portable appliances, defined as “any item of electrical equipment which has a plug top.”

FIXED WIRE TESTING

Depending upon the type of establishment, the period frequency of inspection and testing will vary
